Joe Boyd is the visionary founder of 10XChurches.com and the lead pastor of Grace Fellowship in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, which is recognized as one of America's top 100 fastest growing and most reproducing churches. Exponential identified Grace Fellowship as a level 5 Catalytic Church. Linda Penrose started her career with an entrepreneurial spirit creating a start-up technology company, Business Basics. She parlayed this experience into consulting for failing businesses, with the head of St. Kate’s finance department, to reestablish a healthy business model utilizing her strengths in business organization, people management, process development and technology infrastructure

She also took on a real estate development dream of designing, acquiring financing and developing a $1.2 million dollar, 17 room, bed and breakfast out of train cars up in Two Harbors, MN called Northern Rail Traincar Inn.

She left the corporate world and transitioned into the non-profit world as an operations director for Wishes and More, a Minnesota make a wish foundation for kids and then transitioned to full-time Ministry Director, with her husband Joe, planting the Cowboy Church in Ham Lake, MN.

Over the next 15 years, with a joyful heart, she developed and provided back-office structure and systems. Created new ministries and guidelines for volunteers to serve in. Put in place fundraising events to support the church finances. Provided strategic direction as part of the board. Led the worship team in praise. Developed curriculum for and taught discipleship classes and bible studies. And, provided loving spiritual support for the 150+ church family through prayer and care with the leadership team. What an experience and journey with the Lord!

Linda is so excited to continue to use all the experience and knowledge gained through Christ from her career and planting a beautiful church home. Her expertise will help to raise up and grow disciples with the proper tools and resources that will sustain the planted church while allowing multiplication of churches exponentially for the Kingdom of God with the 10XChurches team.

The one thing she learned in her walk with the Lord while planting, watering, and growing disciples through the Cowboy Church, is in Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." It emphasizes relying on Christ's power to overcome any challenge.

Pastor Joe Penrose

Coach

Pastor Joe Penrose is a Navy Vietnam Vet, an experienced entrepreneur and church planter joining the team of 10XChurches.com as a lead planter coach and mentor. Joe is blessed with a spirit-filled wife, Linda, and loving family. He grew up in Southern Minnesota with God, country, and horses. He was honored to serve the Lord teaching children’s bible study for 13 years at his local Catholic Church.

His business career started in the corporate world with Dayton/Hudson in the flooring industry and he parlayed that experience to start the successful Main Street Kitchen and Bath remodeling, Penrose and Crane Flooring in Minnetonka and a granite import company, Stone Central, with quarries in China and Italy, providing granite products to the US wholesale market. Joe dropped everything when he was tapped on the shoulder and asked to follow his Lord to plant a church.

Joe was ordained through the American Fellowship of Cowboy Churches (AFCC) and planted the first Cowboy Church in Ham Lake, Minnesota, a Christian non-denominational church home where folks could “come as they are, and leave changed” in Christ. He spent the next 15 years leading the church of 150+ attendees to the Lord preaching a straightforward, bible-based, practical message of the Gospel with passion and love. This church home became was haven for the lost, a warm and welcoming environment for all who walked in the doors to experience the love of Christ and learn to grow in discipleship. It had its great days, and it had hard ones, but God would bless us thru the process. Whatever the church needed, God provided.

As part of his outreach, for six years and counting, Cowboy Pastor Joe became the voice of Transformation Sunday Radio where he continues to reach thousands over the airwaves across the Midwest and streaming across the nation with Bob Country FM 106.1 at 8 a.m. by sharing God’s Word to change their lives and behavior to become more like Christ each day.

Joe is excited to be part of this team to lead the next generation of pastoral leaders to do extraordinary things for the Lord with 10XChurches.com using his firsthand experience of being a planter to exponentially expand God’s Kingdom.
